Picard — Local services in Paris

This used to be one of my favorite stores in Paris. I have been a loyal customer since 2015, I spent so much money there especially that it is near my house. I stopped going there last month and this is why: 1- one of your employee a man, not sure what is his problem, first time I paid him with cash, he took extra money from me, fortunately I realized what he did and asked for my money back.

2-same man made me pay for something that I didn’t buy, good thing I always ask for the ticket, I asked him to give me back my money, he apologized and gave it back.

3-again same man, was standing near an old woman who was working at the cashier, she told me to go ahead and use my credit card I did I heard the beep then I removed my card. I am 100% sure that the man did something I saw him moving near the cashier, because all of a sudden the woman said put your card again because it didn’t work, but guess what? it actually did, I was charged twice. I went back and forth asking them for my money back, they refused to give it back.

4-a new employee blonde young girl, she was working at the cashier, coughed on my food deliberately, how did I know? Because she gave me dirty looks while she did it, as if she was saying I dare you to say something, she didn’t even apologize, by the way another employee saw her doing it.

Last but not least, it will not be fair if I didn’t say thank you to a new young African employee, he always smiled and always...

I visit this store at least twice a month and I’ve always been very satisfied with both the range of products and the quality of service I receive. During my visits, I often see a young man working in the aisles tall, with slicked-back hair (unfortunately, I don’t know his name). He is always extremely helpful and attentive, which I really appreciate. I wanted to take a moment to highlight this positive experience, as I’ve come across some comments suggesting that the staff isn’t very friendly. That hasn’t been my experience at all. On the contrary, I’ve always found the team to be professional and approachable. For these reasons, I will continue to shop here regularly and without hesitation. If you are black, you get harassed by the security guard the minute you walk it. They profile you and treat you like a thief. They let in all the other other customers in with their shopping bags, but will want to either search your bag, ask you to leave it by the door and/or watch you (alone) closely the entire while you are shopping. I have been shopping at this store for three years and unfortunately, the shopping experience is very unpleasant. Today was worse, as the security guard made it unbearable, I had to say something.
