The food is okay, the atmosphere is good, but the service is HORRIBLE. If you’re the Stella manager, please hire better waiters, because that’s not acceptable. I live just in front of Le Stella it’s been more than 5 years, but I came just three times because of the impolite and bad service. First time I came, I wanted to leave 5€ tips to the waiter, and he asks me not to. He seemed young and cool, so I told him “non t’inquiète c’est avec plaisir”. He took the 5€ and said “parcontre tu me tutoies pas” instead of just saying “merci”. The second time was okay. The third time is literally now while I’m writing this review. My girlfriend asked the waiter if she can have a pain au chocolat, he told her go to the boulangerie if you need a pain au chocolat. And the worst part is that at the end he brought her the pain au chocolat, so he was just making a...

I could hardly wait to write this review so I pulled over in my car right after the incident to write it. I eat there frequently and have encountered the rude indifferent attitude of this particular Indian looking waiter before. Today however he crossed the line when he verbally attacked and cursed at me in front of a full restaurant because I changed my mind about a dish I ordered. He slammed the plates down and screamed “stop wasting my * time, stop playing ** games with me, I have a job to do!” This sounds like a mental case at best and an incident of verbal abuse at worst. Place will clearly never see me again. Oh and also he simply ignored my request for the meat to be well done, when the dish came the beans were clearly thrown over the meat with zero consideration. Not sure why he hasn’t been fired or sued yet, I guess his...

We were in Paris in May and had I read the negative reviews about Le Stella, we would have gone elsewhere, but I did not and we had a great time.

We were there on a Thursday evening. Our table was on the second floor in the small room at the front. We had the table for two overlooking the tiny plaza. It was fun people watching from this vantage point.

If I recall right our waiter's name was Sasha. He went out of his way to take care of us. The veal stew special was excellent and the steak tartar was great.

As Americans we must be too plebeian, because we enjoyed Le Stella much more than the restaurant our concierge recommended the next night, but that's a...

There are not enough good things to say about Le Stella. Le Stella is a Paris visit must! The atmosphere, the waitstaff, and the food are all amazing. The atmosphere is both a relaxed street corner cafe and a five star level fine dining experience anytime of day. Polished, friendly waitstaff (like Frederick) serving perfectly executed examples of anything ordered from the menu consistently. We ate here three times in one week because it kept outdoing itself. Great experience!!!!! * Pictures are upstairs dining room, Avenue Victor Hugo from outside table, french onion soup, escargot.

Lunch with family and friends. The Good Great atmosphere, busy and bustling, full of locals. Food was very good, we had fish, prawns, fish soup, all good. Everyone was happy. We had a lovely waitress. We broke a glass, no issue at all. The Bad The bread was slow to come. They cut it by hand in a central area so you could see the process, which involved using old bread served to others who did not consume the lot. The ugly They squeezed the bread, to check it I guess.
