I had written a positive review in the past, but now, the third time I went to that store to print my magazine for my project, the guy did a horrible job. The first time he printed the entire magazine with the last pages as the first pages.

The second time I had to wait 3 hours for him to be done and he had not properly cut the pages. He had also printed everything in A4, when he should've in A3, to cut everything in A4 (the bleed) . Some text was missing from the bottom of some pages.

Then, I was told to wait another 2 hours. Apparently he had already created the magazine 5 times, but it ended up being false all the times.

When the 2 hours went by, I went back and this time he hadn't done the binding I wanted (he added a white material at the back of the magazine), the pages weren't cut correctly and some text seemed to be higher than the rest. It was around 6 pm as of July the 28th 2020.

The entire magazine was a disappointment and a catastrophe. I was very annoyed, angry and sad, because I had worked so hard on my designs and the layout this entire semester, yet the end product looked like something for the trashcan and I absolutely hated it.

Tomorrow I must present it, so I paid the 97€ it costed, because I had no other choice. It was either this or nothing. I will get a horrible grade and I am completely aware of it. But it was also my mistake, because I didn't start printing earlier, in case something like this happened.

At the very least the guy was kind enough not to charge me for some photos I had to print for my other work. That's what the one star is for.

But at the end of the day, he is an amateur and can't do one simple job correctly. He has got a lot to learn. Mind you, he wasn't the owner of the store. The owner can actually do his job professionally. But the owner was on vacation this time.

I don't believe I'll ever be coming back at this store. It's been a headache and a very negative experience this last time. I don't think it's worth going through this all over again.

Sometimes, if you've got luck, it'll work fine to print at this store. But sometimes, it won't work and you'll end up being frustrated. It's a matter of luck....

Sam is an amazing guy. He makes a customer feel very comfortable and listens to their needs. Here’s my short story.

We had given a design for printing sports jerseys and he made some test prints before I said yes. He told you can collect it after 2 days. After a day he called and said it’s ready and I can collect it. The print quality is very good and these guys had done a very good job. There was a small spelling mistake which I realised it after coming home. As this was a weekend, I called but nobody answered and I wrote an email and to my surprise Sam replies saying we will look into it tomorrow. The next day, I spoke to him and asked, I don’t know where the error came, because when the test print was taken, there were no errors. Now, if he could correct the print? Sam being a customer centric guy, says okay you bring the shirts and I shall make the change and give it back to you.

He is very committed to the work and the customer that walks into his shop.
