The location of this hotel is excellent, and considering the reasonable price — especially with breakfast included — it’s quite a rare find. However, the affordable rate does come with some compromises. The facilities are rather dated and not very well equipped. The front desk is only staffed from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and rooms use traditional keys. There is no fridge or safe in the room. Please also note that there’s a radiator but no air conditioner.

While the reviews online are very high, my own experience was more mixed. The front desk staff were never particularly warm or attentive. The two ladies and one young man who helped with breakfast, on the other hand, were the only ones who consistently greeted guests with genuine smiles and would responded to our requests — they left a positive impression.

Housekeeping was unfortunately the weakest part of my stay. On the day I arrived, I noticed sunflower seed shells beside the nightstand, and they remained there throughout my stay. There were also some hairs left from the previous guest on the bed and in the bathroom. One morning, I asked the cleaner to come back after ten minutes so I could finish getting ready, but when I returned later, it was obvious she never came back — the room wasn’t cleaned, the trash wasn’t emptied, and the towels were still on the floor.

Overall, the hotel offers good value for money and a convenient location, but guests should be aware that the facilities and cleaning standards may not meet everyone’s...

We stayed in a Biz Deluxe Double Room. The room size was sufficient for two people. The view from the room was directly facing the Frankfurt Cathedral, which really lets you experience the spirit of the city! 😍

In terms of general standards, cleanliness was normal —at least there was no visible dirt in the room or the bathroom. However, it would have been nice to have at least a pair of disposable slippers in the room. 😕

Breakfast was included, and although the buffet was not very large, it offered a good variety: boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, tomatoes & cucumbers, different kinds of cheese, cold cuts and bacon, breakfast cereals, milk & yogurt, Nutella, honey and jam varieties, fruits, croissants, pretzels, and other baked goods…

We spent all day sightseeing and only came back to the hotel to sleep, so its central location was very convenient. Also, having its own restaurant and biergarten right downstairs was definitely a plus. We had beer and sausage there and were satisfied with the taste 🍻

I can recommend this place to anyone coming to Frankfurt as a great...

An affordable hotel in the town centre next to a beautiful cathedral. It is steps away from the Romer train station. I came during the Christmas period, one of the biggest Christmas markets is located right in the area. There are many restaurants selection and walkable shopping districts.

It was surprising that the hot water had an issue while I was staying. As a habit, I'd test the power outlets, lighting, and water supply upon check-in. As soon as I turn on the shower, the water that came out was brownish for quite a while (see pic). I went to the receptionist for assistance and it seems that they already had someone on-site fixing some pipe issues. In the end, it is kinda resolved but surely the water wasn't all clear and no way I would drink from the tap in this city.

Breakfast was included in the hotel stay and I enjoyed the fact that I didn't have to worry about my first...
