Went here the other day because I got their business card from my roommate. Tiny hole in the wall place on a street next to Zeil. At first glance, it’s not the nicest looking place, but the food and service are top notch.
I was greeted by a friendly cashier, who walked me through the menu. I got the chicken curry plate with a combo of bone in and bone out with rice and some naan on the side. Both were AMAZING. Chicken was tender and flavorful. Rice was moist and the Rita was delicious as well. Naan was fresh and good for dipping into the curry sauce. I usually have leftovers.. but I ate the entire thing here. It was that good. Curry was a little spicy, but with me liking spicy food, I actually wished it was a bit hotter. Overall, a great experience and a restaurant I’ll definitely return to. Curry, naan, and a drink for €10... sold every time. Check this place out, you won’t be...
Read moreI came here a little over a month ago before the market closed but didn't get the chance to make this review so I thought there's no time like the present! I enjoyed this restaurant, the lady of the house so-to-say was very nice, and the food was authentic. Good place to try if you're...
Read moreThis is extremely disappointing restaurant as the cuisine is not authentic and the quality is not of standard Indian and Pakistani cuisine.
As we have ordered chicken dish it was sweet just like a dessert
The owner took 20 euros for that it was a big ripe off
I felt I was robbed at that moment and had loss of appetite after that visit.
Mark my words don't ever visit this restaurant.
And its recommend that you should not try Pakistani or Indian cuisine in Europe because they are just robbing your pockets. If you would like to have this type of cuisine visit Pakistan and Asian destinations.
Hope you would never go to this shahi place every because u will never feel like a king just feel like someone has cut ur pocket in a si...
