(I'm writing on behalf of my wife and daughter, who took the perfume making class). The class was a delite, and was fun and informative. There is both a science and an art to the process, and this class did a great job of teaching both.

The instructor was extremely kind and knowledgeable. A real expert in her field. The fellow students added to the experience, as they were friendly and also eager to learn. It was a great two hours and the bottles of perfume that my family made are a great souvenir for our trip. The store also keeps your personal scent on file should you wish to purchase more.

One final note: we were staying right by this store and walked by it several times a day. It was clear that the staff is friendly and engaging even outside of designated classes. To be honest, I didn't even realize it was the place I had bought the tickets and we all were just enjoying the vibe there BEFORE we realized it was the location of the class. We paid €70/pax for the perfume workshop, where you can bring back 30ml of your own bespoke perfume.

Unfortunately we think the workshop was too long and it was a LOT of waiting. We expected more explanation on the perfume-making history in Florence, as well as different scents combination chemistry etc.

Instead, we were given a brief explanation what “base, heart and top” notes are, then were left to our own devices to smell about 30 different scents for an HOUR, then another round of waiting as they formulate the perfume concoction.

Yes the staff members are nice. Yes we did came out of the workshop with a brand new perfume. But no, I unfortunately cannot recommend this experience, unless you like just smelling the same bottles again and again...

I had a wonderful chance to be a participant of perfumery masterclass and is was a truly amazing experience! Fernanda and Ray are so friendly and lovely persons. Whole atmosphere during creating my dream fragrance was so peaceful and warm like at home! I had an opportunity to ask many questions and be professionally instructed by Fernanda. After all recommendations, changes and tips, I got my ready mixture of fragrance, which was stunning.... Of course all of the notes were my propositions!
