INFECTION DUE TO MANICURE DONE HERE.

Absolutely horrible experience. Came to change my gel nail set to a new one. Despite the fact that my fingers got cut multiple times due to too aggressive nail filing, the nails were done horribly. No cuticles were cut, no manicure was done despite me asking for it - only removal of gel and a new layer was put on top. When I went back to Amsterdam to my regular nail salon the manicurist was horrified what she saw. The gel was INCREDIBLY thick (which I pointed out during the manicure and the person did try to remove extra substance off only of one nail when 3 nails were with this crazy, crazy thickness). It was so thick that my nails got INFECTED (never ever had this problem anywhere in any salon; and I’ve been doing my nails regularly for over 2 years now). See pictures attached. I cannot add any nail polish anymore, not even simple one because the infection has to pass - it’s the green colour that you can see on the nail.

On top of the poor service I got charged €15 extra just because I had long nails? Which I didn’t, I never had because of my work! See for yourself of my “long nails”. I put a new set on the nails that survived this horrible manicure and you can see for yourself how nails actually should look like when it’s done at a proper place.

ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS PLACE if you wanna keep your nails!

I booked an appointment for my mum and I to have a pedicure together, but when we arrived there was already someone else having a pedicure, so i went first and my mum waited, thinking that the other person would soon be finished and she could join me. As it turned out, my “curative” pedicure took a maximum of 15 minutes, whereas the woman next to me was still having her feet diligently scrubbed as my mum payed, having given up her spot, since the whole point of us going was to do it together. It cost €30 and I didn’t even get a base coat. Disappointed, pedicure certainly not “curative” or at all thorough.

Love the nails, it’s done by the Chinese lady with a kid. She really knows what she’s doing and was able to accommodate to my request as I want my nail shorter on my thumbs. Oh! I got a half hr massage done by her as well, it’s so good!! My calves tightness (from walking too much) is gone, she really saved my legs! Would have gotten longer massage but she’s got appointment for her next client, I’d definitely return if I have the chance!
