We did the Trastevere walking food tour with Angelica, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to our expectations. While Angelica was friendly, the tour itself felt underwhelming. The 7 food stops were hit or miss—some dishes were decent, but others felt like filler rather than showcasing authentic or high-quality local cuisine. We were hoping for a deeper dive into the food culture, but it felt more like a rushed sampling than a well-curated experience.

Overall, it was okay, but for the price and the hype, we expected something a bit more engaging...
Read moreI booked this food walking tour in Rome with high expectations, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences of my trip. The guide spoke like they were reading from a script and didn’t bother answering questions properly. The food was honestly terrible—tiny bites that tasted like they’d been sitting out too long, nothing fresh or special. Half the places we stopped at looked like they preyed on tourists, not real authentic Roman spots. I felt cheated, hungry, and completely let down. If you actually love food, avoid this tour...
