We went to this wonderful shop on Saturday 24 May 2025 and stocked up for the six months to come! Claudio greeted us and helped without being a nuisance or a salesman. Eight bars of Sicilian chocolate (four citrus fruits and four sea salt) at €4 each, a bottle of Sicilian liquor flavoured with some kind of thistle at €17.50 and four jars of high quality pasta sauces or vegetable pastes ranging from €6.50 to €8 each cost €78.50. We even got a free bar of chocolate with pistachio nuts! It is good to see a small independent business so busy and doing so well.

On our first visit (Thursday 26 September 2024) this Autumn we bought six bars of Sicilian chocolate (cinnamon, citrus fruits and ginger) at €4 each and a bottle of Sician liquor flavoured with bay at €17.50. The owner remembered us from this Spring and we had a chat in broken Italian. Mine, not his!

The first of our twice yearly visits to this wonderfully well-stocked little emporium of all things Sicilian, whether it be food or drink. Today (Friday 17 May 2024) we bought a bottle of Finocchietto Selvatico (liqueur made from wild fennel) at £16 and three bars of Cioccolato di Modica (chocolate with sea salt) at €4 each. Ridiculously good value for such quality! Now it's Saturday 18 May 2024 and we returned to buy three jars of Sicilian Pesto (which translates as Sicilian Paste or Sauce, not just the traditional English understanding of pesto). Pesto di Pistacchio at €10, Pesto Siciliano at €6.50 and Pesto Vulcano at €7. We promised to return in September.

What a tremendous selection of all things Sicilian. Stefano from Aretusa Vacanze introduced us to the owner, Claudio. Today (Monday 2 October 2023) is our last day this autumn so we bought two jars of Sicilian pesto at €6.50 each. We will enjoy them over Christmas and think...

We absolutely loved this shop! The owner was so lovely and accommodating - even offering to open products so we could sample before buying. The range and quality is fantastic - olive oil, jams, grated tuna for pasta, drinks, pistachio treats, balsamic, and so much more. Highly recommend! Love this place! Etna stocks all sorts of Sicilian goodies including an incredible selection of marmalades, pestos and liquors. The owner is super friendly, helpful and not pushy at all. He let us taste test some liquor to help us choose. Just wish I had more room in my suitcase...
