The Spaghetti Dello Chef was the greatest pasta experience of my life.
I can see the Mediterranean as the sun sets. Marco our server was a magician. His voice was both calming and self assuring as we took his recommendation, in which listed alternatives, but made clear that one choice was for the moment. And right he was. The raw prawns took the pasta and sauce to another level.
The Hugo Spritz was perfection.
Normally we take a photo but we thought of none of that, as the home made pasta was kissed by the setting sun and the piano jazz hypnotized us.
Drinks, espresso, a bottle of sparkling water, a hearty plate of spaghetti we shared and a salad for only 50 Euros.
In Seattle this would cost 12 grand.
This was like dinner at Mt. Olympus with Jupiter himself. My girlfriend said no to 12 restaurants before she felt the absolute VIBE as the music, smiles, and a hint glittered against the cobble stone.
This is Saracusa. Put this on your Pinterest ladies. Circle this twice boys. We have some great Sicilian food in Columbia City (Seattle) but if that was the big leagues, this is the home run derby.
The Salvo and Marcelo we're a wonderful team keeping our glasses full and the blues at bay. It is melancholy to leave such a city...
Read moreI recently had the absolute pleasure of dining at Pindaro, and I am still glowing from the exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable, and every detail was handled with care and precision, making this one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time.
The location itself is perfectly situated with stunning views.
What truly set this dining experience apart was the outstanding service provided by Marco and his assistant, Clarence. Marco, with his genuine warmth and impeccable attention to detail, guided us through the menu with expert knowledge, offering just the right recommendations and making us feel like VIPs throughout the entire meal.
Together, Marco and Clarence made an unbeatable team. Compliments to the chef also! Their attentiveness was matched only by their ability to make us feel comfortable. All the staff truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience.
Thank you, Marco and Clarence, for making this evening so special! Your exceptional service is a true reflection of the restaurant’s commitment to excellence. I can’t wait to return. Highly...
Read moreThe restaurant is in a nice spot, offering a view of the Fountain of Arethusa in Isola di Ortigia. On a sunny 24ºC day, it seemed like a good place to enjoy a beer and a few light bites. The signage outside read “Restaurant, Lounge and Bar”, giving us the impression it would be a welcoming spot for that. However, after ordering beers and choosing 2 small plates to share between the 4 of us, the waiter questioned our order making a remark that “this is a restaurant,” making us feel quite unwelcome for not ordering full meals. While the food tasted good, one of the dishes we ordered was misleading—the menu photo clearly showed a portion of six pieces, but we were only served three. Other details also took away from the experience: our table was wobbly, and the interior felt warm, likely due to the AC being off. Good location and food let down by poor service. Overall a place I wouldn’t...
