During our visit to Venice, we discovered the only unique Murano glass shop (that we came across) where the pieces are genuinely crafted on-site by the store's owner and his talented team. The owner, Franzato, was incredibly warm, kind and welcoming, making our experience even more special. We were thrilled with our purchases, which included some intriguing owl figures and beautiful bracelets, all showcasing the beauty of Murano glass. We happened on this shop in San Croce run by the artist. It was full of jewelry and wall and window stained glass art that evoked the rui (round circles of blown glass) of old Venetian church and civic buildings. Found a beautiful keepsake to bring home. Great to support Venetian...
