Booked this activity through ‘getyourguide’ after seeing good reviews, little did I know the horrible reviews when you google search it.

Through the app I clicked on ‘meeting point’ and ‘get directions’, this took me to google maps where there was coordinates to the “meeting point”. After arriving to the meeting point 10 minutes early, the ‘big grey news stand’ they described was nowhere to be seen. After asking several nice gondola men and tour guides they pointed us 10-15 minute walk away from where the app told me the meeting point was! I called the activity provider through the app and it took me to an artificial assistant that said they couldn’t find what I was looking for.

Found the meeting point 10-15 minutes after meeting time due to the lack of instructions and information, the meeting point was described as the ‘big grey newsstand’… it was GREEN. I was greeted by a rude old lady who ignored me and rolled her eyes when I explained the maps situation, she told me I shouldn’t of gone through google and that’s my fault, even though the app linked it to google maps. She tried to charge me another 60euros on top of the 80euros I’ve already paid.

DO NOT waste your money, there are so many nice gondola workers who helped us from other companies, support them instead. I’m disappointed and feel scammed to...

We were given a brief walking tour before getting in the shared gondola ride. As we were walking I asked a question to the lady who was giving the tour. She stopped and told me to raise my hand if I have a question so I don't interrupt her. First of all no instructions were given to the tourists about asking questions from the beginning, the tour staff lady who was leading both English and Italian had her back towards us so how can she see from behind. When I asked her the question she had stopped talking that's why I asked and never interrupted her not once. Towards the end of the short ride the tour lady was no where to be found and we were instructed to leave the walkmans at a vending kiosk where we had boarded the gondolas. This tour lady lacked professionalism since there was no need for her...

We bought 5 tickets for this "40 minute gondola tour". In the last minute, the 5th person couldn't join so we went there thinking that we will have the whole gondola for ourselves since it was already paid. Surprise, surprise! :) We had another lady on the gondola with us and when we asked the staff, they told us that "they can't give a seat to the air, but a refund is not possible". Therefore we paid for "the air". Apart from that noone tells you that the actual gondola ride is 20 minutes and the rest is walking arounnd the streets of Venice with a tour guide telling you stories. Not what we paid for...
