Gucci - Venezia — Local services in Venice

From start to finish I had a wonderful experience shopping at this particular boutique. I knew what I wanted to purchase when I walked in and all the sales associates were eager to help. The gentleman who ended up helping me was very kind and answered all of my questions. He even helped me decide between two different handbag sizes letting me know which looked better on my frame. When he left to pull a brand new bag from the back, another associate brought us water and when my bag was ready, the sales associate explained to me how the VAT refund worked in detail going over all the paperwork with me since we are from the US. Lastly, when we went outside, my husband was trying to get a photo of me in front of the store on the crowded Venice street. The doorman opened the door and gestured for us to come up on the steps for my photograph which I appreciated since it is not every day that I get to buy a Gucci bag. I had a wonderful time in this Gucci. Right after I entered the store, the person near the door quickly find an SA to help me. I asked her right away for the shoes that I’m looking for. Then she brought it out the new one for me to see and quickly made the decision. Then she told me if i want to browse around the store. My husband looked at some bags and shoes and I looked at some mini wallet and decided to get one. My SA was really nice that she offered us drinks and handled the purchase smoothly. Had a super rude sales associate today. Came in to inquire about possible exchange and the lady immediate shut me down. When my husband asked the price of slippers she didn’t even bother to let us know and just said it’s all the same price in Europe but it’s like how do I even know what price it is elsewhere????
