Prosciutto e Parmigiano — Local services in Venice

This is a wonderful little shop in Venice. Really great quality prosciutto di Parma and San Daniele, and equally so for the parmigiano and Friuli cheeses. (They can shrink wrap these for you if you plan to take them out of Venice). I also love the jarred green olives they carry! Big and sweet. My mom wanted to buy some cheese to bring back home after our trip. Found this place by chance that conveniently vacuum seals the wedges for you. We were served by the friendly shopkeeper, who offered us some samples to help us decide what to purchase. My family thoroughly enjoyed the cheeses we purchased and we were even given a small complimentary jar of onion jam to go with our pecorino. High quality products. Loved the place, love the guy, love the products. Not very hard to find thanks to google map, the place is filled with great local products and someone knowledgeable and patient enough to help tourists like me to find some local wine, cheese, prosciutto and other local delicacies. The owner also speak French and English so you shouldn't be afraid to ask questions even if your Italian is mainly inexistant as is mine.
