Not sure I understand the people leaving bad reviews stating "they don't like tourists because they didn't want to sell me a watch". Of course, they have to prioritize local customers, it's not rocket-science. HOWEVER: My experience was absolutely fantastic with both Filippo (Rolex) and Massimiliano (Tudor). Filippo: I explained that I had just turned 30 and was looking for a new watch to celebrate this milestone. Filippo very generously offered an Explorer II, a 36mm dual-tone Explorer I AND a 40mm Explorer I for sale. Unfortunately, they were not my taste, so I declined. To anyone that says "they won't sell you a watch", well, if they had one for sell (like in this case), and if you were nice enough, maybe they would've. I was interested in trying on a particular watch so asked if they had one available making it clear that we were well aware it wouldn't be for sale. My wife and I were wearing Rolex watches at the time and are not strangers to the brand, however it never ceases to amaze us how stuck up, unfriendly and cold some Rolex AD staff can be. The reputation of this iconic company is already suffering as a result of similar behaviour across the world and Rolex really need to put a stop to this as it is turning off real watch enthusiasts. The whole concept of exhibition pieces in the window is surely so that members of the public and potential future customers can examine and try on various pieces and speak about them to the AD who is hopefully knowledgeable, otherwise what is the point of having them.
