Try going up to the vernazza-monterosso hiking route. The view is sooooo nice. If you just want to take pictures of vernazza's coast, you dont have to go very far, just the beginning of the route. You dont have to pay 1.5 euro to the Castello something near the coast. There's nothing there and it doesnt worth your money. I went here twice, in the beginning of october and in the mid of july. I prefer the weather in october, not-too-hot sunny days...
