Okay so there are a lot of bad reviews for this place, so wanted to weigh in for the benefit of others. Agree with others that: -Expensive -Relatively limited in terms of options, with some bizarre omissions like fresh milk -Staff are not rude, but not exactly customer-focused -Small, so you are automatically in the way of other customers and the staff who are trying to stock shelves around you, with that as their main priority -Esoteric rules
However: You will be able to buy enough to get by, not actually more expensive than the rest of the town and generally worth using while you're staying here and we were able to cook some meals. If you buy smart and pick up the right products you'll come away fairly happy. E.g. Burrata was the same price as at a giant Lidl in England, even if other basics are triple the price.
There are larger supermarkets in Monte Rosso so consider going there if you're visiting during the day and want a slightly more modern shopping experience.
But the shop generally serves and I wouldn't avoid it based on the negative reviews, I don't blame the staff for being rude to obnoxious tourists to be honest! It's generally petty Karens who leave...
