Our fourth trip to Vernazza and all it has to offer, including this little gem. Wonderful hospitality and awesome food and drinks. Local Cinque Terra wines were delicious and paired with cheeses, oil, meats. This trip we did a basil pesto making course with Carole and it was fabulous. So interesting, informative and heaps of fun. So much local knowledge!!!!! Even just dropping in for a nightcap was wonderful ….. as always! Cinque Sensi was definitely the highlight of our time in Vernazza and quite possibly our trip to Italy overall. We heard about it from our Airbnb host, whose brother is the owner. The service was fantastic— these people really know the wines they stock and are super knowledgeable about Cinque Terre wine in particular. They were very helpful in shipping wine back to the U.S. for us and even included a note in the shipment containing the origin, tasting notes, etc. A truly special experience. We stopped in twice during our two day stay, and would have stopped in again if we had more time (maybe for the pesto class??) Do yourself a favor and make this part of your Cinque...

While on vacation, we were looking for a nice little place to grab a bite and enjoy a good glass of wine on a terrace — and we stumbled upon this charming little wine bar by chance!

The owner was absolutely lovely, super welcoming, passionate, and full of great recommendations. We had a delicious and generous aperitif platter, a very tasty focaccia, and tried several wines — all of them were excellent!

We loved the authentic, relaxed atmosphere, far from the usual tourist traps you find along the coast. I also saw they offer workshops to make your own pesto — definitely something we’ll try next time!
