Shina Soba Ken — Restaurant in Fujikawaguchiko

We found this while searching "soba" while staying in Kawaguchiko area. We ate the meat fried rice and spring onion Chinese soba with gyoza - the soba was something different but everything was extremely delicious. A lof of locals ate at this place and the ambience was also very nice. The owners were also very kind and helped us choosing the meal (there was an English menu but we could read Hiragana so it helped a lot and we also used Google Translate to ask some stuff). We stumbled upon this place as we were nearby and noticed it is open.

Literally the moment I opened the door, the waitress rolled her eyes and gave her colleague a "not another one" look, which at that point I thought maybe I'm just reading into things.

But as she lethargically walked towards us with the most uninterested look and slumped posture, the first thing she said to us were "You don't stay for too long, ok?", which we were more than happy to oblige by not staying at all. Similar to the last review I read. We went in and there was no warm greetings. More just unhappy mumble amoung themselves. We were told not to use our phones, no photos, and we ordered from a very small menu in English that only gave 3 choices. All the drinks were crossed out except for the beer. When we asked for a beer they said no because we came in a car, they won't sell us one. Food wasn't great but okay. Had and extremely salty and bit burned taste.
