日本のサービスマナーが親切だと世界的に有名でしたが、いつも例外はありますよね！😄 並んで待つべきなのか、入ってもいいのか案内はなく、お店の奥にいらっしゃるスタッフの方と目が合ったのに、ただ笑って通り過ぎました。 それで一旦待ってから入ってみたら、職員の方が何か気に入らない表情をして挨拶もなしに通り過ぎて行き「最近(勝手に)入ってくる人が多くね?」と他の職員の方と笑いながら対話されました。 お客様の前での陰口はかなり新しい経験でした！🤭 聞き取れると思わなかったのでしょうかな—と思います🎵

Japanese service manners are known worldwide for their kindness, but of course, there are always exceptions. There was no guidance on whether we should wait in line or go inside, and when I made eye contact with a staff member inside the store, they just smirked and walked away. So I waited a bit and then went in. One of the staff members gave me a displeased look, didn’t greet me, and walked past while chatting with another employee, saying with a laugh, 'Aren’t there more and more people these days who just walk in on their own?' It was quite a new experience for me to be talked about like that right in front of me. I suppose they didn’t expect I could understand them. Frankly, the level of rudeness I experienced makes it clear that proper customer service training is urgently needed.
