Tamariya Rice Flour Donut Specialty Store — Restaurant in Hiroshima

Visited Tamari Ya in Hiroshima to try their rice flour donuts and picked up the "Yashi" (Old Fashioned) flavor with cranberry topping and coconut. The donut was really nice—not overly sweet, with a subtle, natural taste that lets the ingredients shine. The texture was especially memorable: very chewy, almost mochi-like, and reminiscent of traditional Japanese rice-based sweets rather than classic Western donuts. It made for a new and enjoyable snacking experience.

Very friendly owner, incredible donuts, much more chewy than a normal one but I personally preferred it. Toppings were delicious, white chocolate was crunchy and tasty and the lemon icing blew me away. I used to find Krispy creme etc a bit too sugary and these were the perfect mix. Rice flour donuts. These were amazing! My guess is that earlier in the day they are even better. I got them in the late evening and they were still so good. Soft and chewy.
