Amazing service by the loveliest of people!

I stumbled into the shop as a walk in (at 4pm mind you and the shop closes at 5) the staff did everything to help me select a kimono I truly liked and helped me choose a plan (I was able to give it back the next day to truly wear it as long as possible)

It was my graduation celebration so I selected a pricier package which was still very fairly priced. Their patterns and quality they have is much better than most shops in the area, my hairstyle was impeccable.

But I really want to praise the wonderful ladies which helped dressing and assembling the kimono as well as the hair and accessories!! They were all so kind and sweet- although there was only 1 English speaker who translated they were willing to put in 120% effort.

I took my pictures of a lifetime and they made this day in kyoto one I will always remember. Arigatou...

What an amazing experience and friendly staff. We couldn’t be more satisfied with the outcome. We hired the couple plan and child kimono for our toddler, took all the pictures we wanted in Kiyomizu-dera and returned the clothes about 3 hours later. My husband chose a very basic sober kimono but, for men too, they have amazing (and fancy) ones for those interested. In general there is a wide range of choices for each price (starting from 4.950 JPY), hair accessories, purses and, for 500 JPY umbrellas. As a bonus, they run a restaurant on the first floor with regular tables which is the easiest way to accommodate a family with stroller....

We came in with a group of seven, no reservation, and they took us in immediately. The process was so fast, they were very kind and knowledgeable. Helped some of us who were indecisive make decisions lol- really knew how to make us all feel beautiful. 🤗 I especially love the kimono selection they have available as well as the variety of hair styles and accessories provided. Overall this was a wonderful experience for us all and we are very grateful to have found this lovely shop. ❤️ Will definitely be coming back here anytime we...
