When I started watching collecting, I looked online to find out what makers and watch brands may have high-quality watches and not came up on the search is my only a high quality watch, but all locally made in Japan, which was very important to me to find something that was less outsourced.

After a better review, I purchased their 10th anniversary watch which arrived to me two months before I came to Japan and it was an absolute gorgeous watch that was extremely high-quality and I get compliments on all the time.

On my way to Japan and you, I want to stop by their main store here in Kyoto and the staff were very helpful and accommodating and also very knowledgeable about what may or may not work as well as sizing the correct watchband to and the different pieces that were available. Not knowing much about watches or being in the industry you may think not was just another generic brand, but it is actually quite well known in certain circles in terms of being making high-quality watches with reasonable prices and a lot of stability for accessorizing with a huge assortment of straps.

At the store, I was able to pick up some of the silk straps for my Apple Watch, as well as a few other leather and denim white straps for one of their platinum snowflake watch faces, which was absolutely gorgeous in person.

OVERVIEW: Made in Japan watches with a variety of style and movement options (i.e they have quartz, hybrid, solar, etc.). Great quality watches.

ME: English speaking tourist with 0 Japanese speaking skills

THE STORE: easy to navigate and well organized with labels in English. There’s also QR codes that bring you to their website for more in depth details on their products (i.e. the construction or how it’s powered, etc.)

PRODUCT: watch parts are all sold separately and the sky’s the limit when it comes to mix and match and how you can customize your watch. For example, the clock part can come in a silver color but you can pair it with whatever strap you like and the metal color on that strap can be in gold, black, silver (really, any color it’s available in). There is also the option to engrave.

We ultimately purchased 1 hybrid movement watch and 2 solar movement watch (as gifts).

CUSTOMER SERVICE: exceptional. I was in a rush and didn’t catch the name of the man helping us. But he was very friendly and extremely patient with us as we worked through the selections. Please note, the entire purchasing experience does take a bit of time and wouldn’t recommend if you’re in a rush. However long you think it’ll take, add some more...

The store itself is stylish, minimalistic and clean looking. It is also easy to find along the Sanjo-Dori Street. We visited the store a little bit late, but the kind staff held the store open a little bit longer for me and helped me to choose the best watch and strap combination for me. A big thank you to Takemura for his exceptional service and mindfulness. The engraving on the back of the watch is beautifully made and takes no more than five minutes to do. Really gives a more personal touch to it....
