This was by far the best manicure I have ever had! The level of detail and care spent on my nails exceeded my expectations!

I come from the US and the service and time spent here was FAR beyond what you ever would get there. If I ever come back to Kyoto I will for sure be back. Not to mention, the gel selection was amazing! I went in with a design in mind and only wish I would have spent more time browsing my choices before deciding because there were many more choices than I imagined. I found a design on Pinterest and didn’t realize until afterwards that it sorta looks like Pokémon balls LOL! Not my vision at all hahahah, but still the best manicure and I highly recommend Raffina.

Best nail job that I have gotten so far. I googled nail salons in Kyoto and this is one of the selections and I’m glad that I went there as I had the best experience. I went without an appointment and it was at the end of the day and she didn’t have anything available and reschedule me for the next day. Language was not a problem as she spoke enough English to understand me and I also use the Google translator just to make sure that we were on the same page. She took her time did and was very meticulous. I had a short video of what I wanted but chose different colors than the video I showed her. I wish they lived here. Give them a try. I’m so thankful that they were able to fit me in at Raffina. Due to a translation issue, the salon I thought I had booked didn’t work out, but they found me Raffina and they were able to fit me on very last minute the night before my elopement. The ladies were so kind and professional. They did not speak fluent English but they were kind enough to communicate with me through my translator app and we actually had a wonderful conversation.
