In the 2023 red leaf season, one person can visit one hotel per day in Kyoto. There are many three- and four-star hotels. The Yingte Hotel is at the bottom. First of all, the 35 square meters of the room I booked is not enough, and the room I booked with a bathtub has a musty smell. I want to take a bath and relax, but I can’t stand the smell. I turned on the ventilation all night and it’s still smelly the next day. Even a fast hotel in Kyoto has some aesthetics. The atmosphere in Kyoto is unique. It’s ugly and vulgar. The entire hotel is not taken care of. The lobby is dirty and old. The sofas and fake bamboo in the small courtyard are not pleasant at all. I don’t want to experience the hot springs, but the well-kept hotel opposite it turned into a crumbs in seconds. I walked around and there was nothing worth eating. A woman was very indifferent and didn’t know how to say hello. Fortunately, I didn’t. For dinner, I am currently staying in a Porterhouse 35-square-meter corner room with the same price as the Yingte room. It is cheaper than the Kyoto Station Richmond. The free tea break, desserts, and alcoholic beverages in the garden are much better than the Yingte room. I stayed at the Arima Grand Hotel for the first day, and everything is well-kept. I am very nostalgic. The price is only two hundred yuan higher than Yingte, but it includes high-quality breakfast. The contrast is too strong. Yingte is a brand that has been blacklisted and deserves a bad review. I think it is due to poor management level. The front desk staff is very nice. There is a * man named Chen who is serious and responsible. There is also a beautiful woman who helped call a taxi. For comparison, I will post 5 photos of other hotels. The other hotels in Yingte are very dirty and not worth...
Read moreStayed at this hotel for the second time. Because I like it so much, I brought my friends with me this time. This is the only hotel where I stayed twiceThe location is good, quiet, but very convenient for traveling. In the vertical direction from the hotel, you can walk straight for about 10 minutes to the Nishiki Market. It is about a 5-minute walk from the nearest Karasuma Line Shijo Station. There are also many restaurants in the small alleys nearby. The hotel provides free afternoon tea and late night snacks. The late-night Chazuke rice was really great, and it was largely because of this bowl of Chazuke rice that I came here for the second time. Must try it!There is a public bathhouse on the first floor, which is definitely needed after a long day of walking. For those with mysophobia, the room also has a bathtub.Because I had children with me, I stayed in a deluxe twin room both times. This room is large and can accommodate an extra bed. But in fact, a family of three does not need an extra bed at all, and there is no pressure to spread out two large boxes. The service attitude is as good as ever. There is a tall man at the front desk who speaks Chinese and is *. He wears glasses and is very polite. If you really can't communicate, you can ask him for help. All in all,...
Read moreMy family and I booked connecting rooms which had 2 single beds and a toilet and bath in each one. Rooms were well appointed and clean and beds were comfortable. It was nice for my family to be able to spread out and have sufficient space. The only downside was the windows are frosted over so you can’t see outside, however not a deal breaker as we only ever stayed in the room to sleep. The hotel also had a public onsen bath on the ground level which we used often after a hard day of exploring kyoto. The hotel also offered lounge services with offerings changing throughout the day. Check timings on their website (coffee, smoothies, drinks and nibblies (free for all guests). At night they offer a complimentary buffet of rice with different toppings and soups. Pay extra for breakfast, it is a typical Japanese breakfast with a lot of veggies and offerings of rice, curry and variety of hot and cold dishes. Not your typical western buffet and was a refreshing change. ||Hotel is a short walk to Nishiki markets and is still a walkable distance to Shijo station and Kawaramachi strip. Reception staff was helpful and spoke english. We are very happy with our stay at hotel intergate. She may be small and compact but She has a lot to offer. We...
