I have been to many great massage places in Japan, but this one is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Upon arrival, I was transferred to another location with a group of four, which I initially thought was fine since they seemed busy. However, when I got there, the noise and lack of professionalism were unbearable. The staff were loud, inconsiderate, and had no respect for the other patrons while they preparing for other guests. They were preparing massage chairs and chatting among themselves as if it were a casual gathering, not a place for relaxation. It felt like trying to have a peaceful massage in the middle of a chicken farm.
This is not what I expect from a Japanese massage experience. The atmosphere was completely inappropriate for relaxation, and the so-called "Japanese massage" was unskilled and utterly unprofessional. It’s clear that this establishment is more interested in quantity over quality, and the lack of attention to customer comfort is evident.
I am truly disappointed, especially since the staff, while polite, seemed completely untrained and unaware of how to create a calm, relaxing environment. I strongly advise anyone considering this place to look elsewhere. This is a total scam, and a complete waste of time and money. Don’t ruin your experience with such unprofessional service. The photo is where I have been transferred and it seem like they all...
Read moreI just booked our second reservation via chat in a couple of days. The first time we went was two nights ago and it was great. It was our 5th day in Japan and we’ve been logging an average of 20,000 steps a day. We were looking for a foot massage at the minimum. We ended up getting a body massage as well which was so good for my back that’s been aching since I’ve been carrying a backpack to store purchases throughout our vacation each day. The staffing team are very friendly. They speak Japanese, Korean and Mandarin. They can feel which muscle parts are tight/heavily worn out and address the aching areas. On top of that, the pricing is very fair. I am highly recommending this place for friends and families who will be in Osaka in future trips! Thank you so much for having us and helping our bodies recover to enjoy the rest of our...
Read moreI had injured both Achilles tendons a few weeks before a trip to Osaka. Despite regular ice and rest and stretching before and during my trip, pain worsened on Osaka, to the point i was walking only short distances, a few times a day.
I read reviews of several massage providers in Dotonbori area and saw several positive ones about his treatment, including for Achilles tendonitis.
I had significant relief after two 45 minute treatments. Pain onset while walking was significantly delayed and it no longer spread from ankle to calf.
The gentleman who worked on my legs was professional and effective. Although not cured, the intermittent pain is less frequent and responds to stretching, ice packs, and brief rest.
if i lived in the area, i would continue to see him for...
