I had a disappointing experience while browsing for luggage at your store. I noticed several luggages were chained to a cabinet for security purpose, which I understand. I approached a staff and politely asked if she could help unchain one so I could test the wheels.
Instead of assisting, she impatiently told me to take the product card and proceed directly to checkout. I explained that I needed to test the wheels before deciding. She then opened the luggage zipper in a rough manner (it is still chained) and so quick that giving me little chance to examine it properly. When I asked again if the chain could be removed so I could try the wheels, she just waved impatiently and said it couldn't be done, and then JUST WALKED AWAY! On the evening of September 2nd, my parents purchased some goods in MUJI parco store. After paying in cash, the store clerk did not count the money on the spot. After putting the money away, the clerk took it out again and said the amount was incorrect. It seemed that the clerk found my parents' confused and panicked demeanor, due to their language barrier, amusing. The clerk, along with other staff members, stood nearby watching and laughing at them. I wasn't there initially; I was called over by my parents in the middle of the incident. When I arrived, I saw the clerks laughing at them. I think there are a few areas that could be improved:
As a store clerk, I don't believe you haven't learned the rule of "counting cash on the spot." In a place frequented by international tourists, English proficiency could be enhanced.
As an internationalized society, Japan is at the forefront of the world. Please maintain a certain level of global perspective rather than considering it laughable just because I don't understand Japanese.
