Aeon Cinema Shinsaibashi — Local services in Osaka

The concession staff, よしかわさん　was so rude. First, when I asked if I can put butter on my popcorn, in Japanese: バターできますか？　which is in polite Japanese. She replied rudely: できない。　then, When I asked about the premium popcorn set (it was on one of the menu there but only available to member, I think), she said ‘へええ?! せっと?!’ Which I know is so rude in Japan. Especially when you’re doing costumer service. I went to the menu and showed her the menu on the other side, and she didn’t even move a bit to see what I meant until I call her to see the menu. Then she replied that it is only available for member. How would she know that I’m not a member at the first place to deny the set?? Also her glaring at me and my husband too before she stopped after I glared at her back.

Seriously, I like every other things about this cinema, it is clean, the seat’s super comfortable. Other staffs were nice and polite too. But the rude behavior of よしかわさんruined my mood to watch movie. I hope the next time I come here, the concession...

It was an amazing. experience. Seat are spacious and well separated from each other with black screens. Foot space feels like traveling business class. Seats for first class available with reclaiming chairs on first line. The last restaurant as you go to the floor above is a very tasty Chinese doing an incredibly delicious orange tea drink with natural fruits drink as much as you fan as part of the 990 yen lunch menu (nomihodai) . If hungry go tabehodai for the 2500 yen menu and eat the most delicious dumplings (huge variety) cooked as you ask, and pekin duck. A bit disappointing that the buffet food was not properly covered neither gloves available to handle it. But you can get away with the food ordered over the counter like pekin duck and dumplings. Drink liquors and beer ... as much as you can for 120 minutes for 999 yen. A bit dangerous so my wife did not allowed me to go for it but I will be back with my...

Today is my first time visiting this cinema. If you want to have a comfortable viewing environment, I highly recommend not coming here. I am surprised that the people in the first row of sofa seats have taken off their shoes and socks, and the entire cinema is full of disgusting foot odor. The cinema has not activated the air circulation system, and after about an hour of the movie, I cannot bear it. I applied for a refund from the staff, The staff did not stop these people who emitted the foul smell, and when I returned to my seat again, I was told that I needed to pay all the fees again. I didn't understand, so I chose to leave. They wasted more than an hour of my time, and I pitied those who didn't leave this cinema. Their memories of this movie will be left with...
