We turned up at this beautiful restaurant late on a Monday evening after the rest of the department store had closed, attracted by the set menu. When we arrived, we realised there were very few customers at the restaurants on the floor of the building at this time — and were instantly feeling like blundering tourists.

If our waiter Ohki had been expecting to close up early, he didn’t let his disappointment show and treated us to professional and attentive service. The food was sublime. I particularly enjoyed the starter, onions with sauce wrapped in ham, but the steak was cooked exquisitely.
