Shimojima Shinsaibashi — Local services in Osaka

We came here looking for a cardboard box to send home some things we’d bought on our long trip. It was the perfect store. A multi-level packing paradise. It had a great selection of sizes of sturdy cardboard boxes. It also had all the other things we needed like high quality packing tape, bubble wrap. Basically everything we needed to package our things and post home. The box made it across Japan and all the way home to the UK undamaged....

My favourite stationary store in Osaka! I liked it so much that I went to the other branch in Nishiumeda, which was not as good. They had a huge selection of pens, note books and stamps. They seem to sell most stationary products with exception to niche, hard to find or high end items. The prices were good. I found they priced their items often lower than the recommended retail price definitely better than the other big stationary stores...

This place is INSANE, in the best possible way! I don't know how anyone can give it less than 5 stars. If you can imagine it for your packaging needs, they've already thought of it and have it in every size and color. Floor after floor of stuff that you didn't even know existed.
