Rooms were nice and well kept. Service was terrible.

For starters, at check-in, they kept my passport. In my haste of soothing a toddler long past naptime, I received my room keys to one of my two rooms but forgot to ask for my passport back. They brought it to me, but over 45 minutes later. I was mortified that I forgot it, but even more upset that it took almost an hour to get it back. Like wow - one would think that returning a passport would have been immediate given the importance of a document like that.

The next day, the baby got sick so we canceled our dinner plans and requested take out and delivery suggestions. Due to their "hotel policy" they would not give delivery suggestions but did provide take out suggestions. Also, their room service menu did not look appealing which is why we decided to order out. I asked for a take out ramen restaurant suggestion, and the concierge suggested a place that I walked to... but they refused to serve me and kept asking me to wait. I waited as two other two-tops (Japanese natives) were seated ahead of me before I left hungry. All in all, we've loved Japan and appreciated how kind people been to us as foreigners. This was a bit of a shock to be discriminated against. Is Marriott responsible for the actions of a restaurant? No. But given the hundreds of restaurants open near the hotel, I would have thought the concierge would be more careful with where they send guests nearby.

Then the next day as we were leaving, I called downstairs to request a large taxi, no answer. Then I messaged via the app requesting one, and they replied at the time I actually needed the taxi, that a large taxi was difficult to call and said they would wait for a response on how many people I needed to transport. By this time I was heading downstairs anyway and requested one in person and said I was going upstairs quickly to ensure my family was able to get the rest of the luggage downstairs and that I would be right back and to please order the taxi. When I got back downstairs

太惊艳了 这次来W Osaka的体验,一个旅程中最重要的我觉得就是在酒店能恢复我全部的体力,恰好W Osaka不仅帮助我睡了好觉还给了我这么丰富且美味的一顿早餐||Breakfast at W Osaka: A Heartwarming Reunion with Old Friends Wrapped in Delicious Food and Warmth|During my time in Osaka, the most unforgettable moment wasn’t the bustling scenery of the streets and alleys, but the breakfast I shared with old friends at W Osaka. It was like a beam of warm light, serving as the most healing opening for our long-awaited reunion. Even now, when I think back, the mellow aroma of butter still lingers on my taste buds, and the sound of our laughter seems to echo in my ears. Those tiny, beautiful moments have long been deeply etched in my memory.||Before setting off, we mentioned to the hotel that we were traveling with friends for a get-together. We didn’t have high expectations, but we were thoroughly touched by the thoughtfulness of Miyali, the restaurant manager. With remarkable efficiency, she had reserved a cozy corner seat by the window for us in advance. This spot was free from the crowd and noise of the public area, yet it allowed the early-morning sunlight to fall gently on the dining table. Wrapped in the soft light and warm atmosphere, we couldn’t help but relax as soon as we sat down, eager to catch up with each other about our recent lives.||Shortly after we settled in, Jim, a waiter, approached us with a smile as bright as the sun. Not only was he good-looking, but his professionalism and enthusiasm during the service were even more impressive. Learning that it was our first time having breakfast at the hotel, he took the initiative to recommend the signature croissants. When the croissants were served, a gentle bite made them crumble softly. The rich, mellow aroma of butter filled our mouths instantly, and the texture inside was as fluffy as if it were wrapped in air—its layered taste was surprisingly delightful. We couldn’t stop eating; each of us ordered another one, and we kept murmuring, “This is definitely the most delicious croissant we’ve ever had!”||It wasn’t just the croissants—every ingredient in the breakfast was fresher than we had expected. The freshly fried bacon had a slight crispy edge, and each bite was full of meaty flavor without being greasy. The aroma of the fat blended perfectly with the tenderness of the meat. Even a simple vegetable salad offered the fresh sweetness and crunch of the vegetables themselves. Throughout the meal, there was no trace of the “industrial taste” that often comes with pre-prepared food in traditional five-star hotels. Every bite let us savor the most authentic freshness of the ingredients, and this dedication to the quality of the dishes made us truly feel the hotel’s sincerity.||What made the experience even more heartwarming was that the service provided by the entire restaurant staff and the kitchen team carried on Miyali’s attention to detail. Everyone was polite and wore a warm smile at all times. What was even more rare was their sense of propriety—they knew “how to read people’s minds.” They never interrupted our conversation abruptly, yet they always showed up promptly when we needed refills or new tableware. This well-timed thoughtfulness allowed us to chat with our old friends without any sense of restraint, as comfortable as if we were in our own home.||We stayed in the restaurant for a long time that day. Even after we finished breakfast, we were reluctant to get up and leave. Bathed in the view of Osaka’s early-morning streets outside the window, watching the crowds gradually become lively, we chatted casually with our old friends about our experiences over the years. It felt as if time had slowed down. Even now, when I think back on...

A Marvelous Escape: W Osaka - Elevating the W Experience

Nestled in the vibrant cityscape of Osaka, W Osaka stands as a beacon of contemporary luxury. During my recent stay at this dynamic establishment, where I paid a rate of Rp19,520,781, I had the pleasure of immersing myself in the energetic vibe of the Marvelous Suite High Floor. This review will delve into the details of my experience, highlighting the features that make W Osaka, perhaps my favorite W property to date, and my preferred choice in Japan besides Tokyo Edition Toranomon.

Marvelous Suite High Floor: The Marvelous Suite at W Osaka is a testament to the brand's commitment to bold design and unparalleled style. Perched on a high floor, the suite offers a panoramic perspective of Osaka's lively atmosphere. The contemporary and edgy design, synonymous with the W brand, creates an environment that resonates with the city's dynamic energy.

From the expansive windows, the city lights of Osaka paint a vibrant backdrop, setting the tone for a stay that encapsulates the essence of W Hotels. The Marvelous Suite, with its innovative design and thoughtful amenities, became a haven of modern luxury within the heart of Osaka.

Exceptional Service: W Osaka's dedication to delivering a vibrant and personalized experience is evident in its exceptional service. From the moment of arrival, the staff's enthusiasm and attentiveness set the stage for a stay that goes beyond expectations. The W brand's signature Whatever/Whenever service is not just a slogan but a commitment that ensures every guest's unique needs are met with flair.

As someone who has frequented various W properties, I found W Osaka to be a standout in terms of service. The staff's passion for creating memorable experiences elevated my stay, making it not just a temporary abode but a dynamic and immersive journey.

Dining: W Osaka's culinary offerings are a celebration of global flavors and innovation. The hotel's restaurants curate a diverse menu that caters to discerning palates. Dining in this vibrant setting is not just about savoring exquisite dishes but experiencing a culinary journey that mirrors the city's eclectic charm.

Facilities and Amenities: W Osaka is equipped with a range of facilities and amenities that align with the brand's promise of dynamic luxury. From the trendy WET Deck with its skyline views to the state-of-the-art FIT gym, the hotel caters to guests seeking a blend of relaxation and vitality. The Living Room, a communal space that encapsulates W's ethos, becomes a social hub within the hotel.

Conclusion: My stay at W Osaka in the Marvelous Suite High Floor was a captivating fusion of style, energy, and personalized service. The hotel's vibrant atmosphere, exceptional service, and innovative design make it a standout in the W portfolio. For someone who has explored various W properties, W Osaka emerges as a favorite, rivaling even the renowned Tokyo Edition Toranomon. If you seek an immersive and dynamic experience in the heart of Osaka, W Osaka undoubtedly sets a new standard for contemporary luxury, and I eagerly anticipate returning to this electric haven...
