We were helped by Taiwanese female associate who spoke English very well. She helped us out to purchase what we were looking for passport case. She gave few options for hot stamp that was exclusive for Japan which was the main purpose. We had great interaction with her. Then Japanese male associate came in to do the hot stamp who seemed to understand English. After he put Tokyo stamp, I asked him if he can do my initials too, the basic one that all LV stores do. And he made big deal out of it, looked little upset, then went back to the store to “check” but he did put them on the case. While he went back again to wrap up the box, we were browsing the store. A magnetic phone wallet caught our attention and asked the female associate to take it out so we could take a look. We were very interested to purchase it since it came out just a day before. Again we were having good time and fun conversation with her. The male associate came back with our passport case wrapped up. He kind of said “why didn’t you purchase it together?” We thought we heard it wrong since he did not speak English not as well as she did. My husband’s face expression already showed that he heard it too. We continued to chat with her then decided to buy the wallet too. Now this time nice and clear he asked again smirking “we should’ve bought them all together in one transaction. Why didn’t you buy it earlier?” If we want to buy something, we can buy them in anyway anywhere anytime. We know it’s not purses or big purchase. But he should not have made those comments. He has to wrap the products regardless for anything. Why is it necessary to purchase them together? Are we not paying for any of those that we wish to purchase? Did we ever say something for him to chuckle or look down on us? My husband said never mind and took the passport case then walked away. And that associate did hand gesture exactly like 🤷🏻what did I do wrong. We ended up making more purchase at other location which actually made us feel comfortable and welcome. We threw away the receipt and everything so we do not have his name but we do have pictures. We visited the store...
Read moreWorst experience! I purchased the LV passport cover so I can get it stamped while I'm in Japan. I was stopped at the door and was told I couldn't come in because I had a drink container. I asked if they had a trash and the man at the door said they have a trash on the 2nd floor..... but I can't get there because they won't let me in the building. I asked about getting my passport cover stamped and I was told they only do that if you purchase in store. I really felt discriminated against. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a foreigner.... because I'm black.... because I'm a black foreigner..... I'm not sure. But the fact that I'm just asking a question and I was surrounded by 3 people who wouldn't let me past the threshold is horrible. I...
Read moreHad a great experience for a first time shopper here. I was greeted quickly upon entering and was helped within seconds. The staff member was very patient with my questions and took the time to show me all my options for a zippy wallet that I came in for. All I can say is I had a great, simple, straightforward shopping experience. I like that it’s an all men’s store since it was quieter and less busy. I will be coming back to this store for more leather goods when I’m...
