We went here for a Candle light concert. We did not know the seating will be on “first come first serve” base. The tickets we bought did not have specific seat numbers and there was no clear guidance that we should come early to claim the seats for ourselves. The staffs at the venue did not check or guide people to seat either. So there are many single seats left empty in each row, which was very inefficient and annoying. Frankly speaking, if you claimed a seat in a different zone that you bought tickets for, no one would ever know. Please improve this as we paid high price for good seats but ended up having ones at the edge that not so good to see the stage at all. And for people coming to the concert: PLEASE START SITTING FROM THE CENTER OF THE ROW AND DO NOT LEAVE ANY SINGLE SEAT IN BETWEEN. That’s only a common sense.

My favorite day in Tokyo this past trip was a performance of Kantan at the relocated Kanze theatre here in Ginza Six. Unlike the national theatre, the libretto was not displayed in the seat back, but that was ok. Intimate and comfortable theatre and the performance was moving.

Had a nice teppanyaki lunch before the show in the same complex, and the incredible Tsutaya art bookstore...

Went for a Noh experience workshop. There were lots of things going on and it was fun being exposed to this particular traditional Japanese art. They also gave out a learnjng leaflet. The talk was pretty long especially since we can read about it but it was good that the event was...
