This place never disappoints and is one of my favorite dining spots in Tokyo. It’s a nice high end teppanyaki located on the 6th floor of the Ginza 6 shopping mall in the heart of Ginza.
They offer 4 great lunch sets which are a great value. Prices range from 4000 to 13,000 yen depending on what course you choose. The largest set is still only about $100 USD and it comes with a ton of food. It’s definitely worth the money, this types of meal would cost probably $250 in the states.
The 2 larger sets come with 3 chef’s choice dishes. Today we grilled scallop coated in potato strings for the “today’s recommendation”. The set also comes with “today’s specialty” which cheese crepe with prosciutto and tomato. Lastly, the rice of the day was a garlic fried rice which was served nice and crispy with little bits of garlic.
The portions of everything are perfect and you get a nice assortment of dishes to try. Ever dish was delicious, nothing disappointed us.
The lobster was a great splurge with the lunch set. We all received huge whole lobsters and lobster miso soup too. They serve it with a slice of grapefruit to squeeze on to enhance the sweetness of the lobster. AMAZING!
The quality of everything is top notch and the service is amazing too. They even offer a dessert bar they roll to the table at the end of the meal. You can choose what you like or one of everything to try which is what we got.
This is a great meal in Tokyo! ...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing dining experience at this teppanyaki restaurant. The quality of the food was extremely concerning. The lobster tasted odd, the abalone had a fishy smell, and every dish in the set meal was poor in taste, to the extent that I had to leave without finishing my meal. Both my companion and I suffered from stomach upset afterwards, which raises serious doubts about the quality and safety of the food.
The dining atmosphere was also terrible, with constant noise and loud shouting each time a dish was served - an absolute nightmare for anyone seeking a peaceful dining experience. The staff seemed inexperienced and chef seems young. The quality and variety of the dishes used were subpar, detracting from the dining experience.
The most unacceptable incident, however, was when they served me fried rice. The server, shockingly, used his hand to put back the food that had spilled over the side of the bowl into my bowl. This act completely violated basic food hygiene standards and completely killed any remaining appetite I had. Not only was this action nauseating, but it also seriously called into question their commitment to food safety.
To top it all off, the meal cost me 35,000 yen, which in no way justified the poor quality of food and service. It was by far the worst teppanyaki meal I've ever had. I strongly advise against...
