This was back in March 2024: The only foreign white cashier at that time was rather rude to me, saying “並んで!” (Please line up!) in an angry tone just because I wasn’t familiar with that store’s specific line/queue up for the cashier — and he probably thought I was trying to cut the queue.

Could’ve just talk to me politely instead of raising his voice and shaming me in front of all the other people there.

My hotel was quite nearby but I’d rather shop at another konbini than returning back to this specific...

The two employees (a white girl with freckles and a Japanese one) are the rudest I’ve seen in 3 weeks in Japan, giving me attitude and openly making fun of me because they thought I don’t understand Japanese. I didn’t make a scene so I just stared at them and they hid behind the counter laughing....

Agree with the service not being of high quality, but I think the bigger issue is the ATM being hidden outside of the store in a place where it gets unnoticed. Instead, confusingly, there's a money exchange machine available. Look for the real...
