Was looking for satisfaction after being told half the 4th floor at this new building is only accessible to people with Japanese phone numbers 🤦🏻

Unfortunately it did not get better at Banana steak. They advertise ‘domestic loin’ and it was the worst domestic beef I’ve ever had in Japan. First off, the cut of beef is not recognizable (see picture). I suspect some meat glue (thinly Motomaru Gyu Katsu scandal) partly because of how tough and chewy the meat was. Had the loin steak lunch combo. The steak was first served a bit too rare but we requested them to cook it a more and they accepted without hesitation. The staff are kind and welcoming. The steak was delicious and was perfectly priced for lunch. It comes with bean sprouts, miso soup, crispy garlic bits, coarse salt and rice. This is a fanatic place for a meal. I ate here back in October of 2024 and sadly just now remembering to leave a review. The food was very delicious, the staff were all gracious and kind, not to mention also friendly and fun.
