HORRIBLE service, and a warning to everyone! The staff told me several times very firmly that anything purchased here CANNOT be opened and eaten in the airport. He said that it’s the airport’s policy. When I told him I did not need a bag, he said I HAD to take one. When I explained that I don’t like to use plastic and asked for paper, he said No. I asked if he could put marking tape/a sticker instead, he said No. I asked if I could return the bag after using it, because I planned to eat the Pringles and jellybeans (still have a long wait) - this is when the attitude came in, and in the end it was such a bad experience, I couldn’t buy anything there. Not sure if this applies to Japanese in th service industry in general but when they see an Asian face, they naturally assume that you are of a certain Nationality and simply ostracise you. This is not the way to behave at all. Not in the service industry and definitely not in the ordinary way of life either. So unless you are non Asian, do not try to patronise this store and ruin the rest...
