Not necessarily the greatest ramen I’ve ever had, but actually a lot better than expected and outstrips some overhyped spots in the US. It’s fast-food style at Haneda airport in Terminal 3. I paid 2250 (~$15.50 USD) for a large beer and the ramen. Not bad for pretty good food that filled me up perfectly. A good choice while waiting for a flight. Update: Came back during a short layover from Thailand to California. The ramen was solid but the karaage I ordered was lifeless and lukewarm, tasted a couple days old. Ramen was good though so no issue there. Still a decent place!

We stopped by Hokkaido Kitchen after shopping and buying some snacks and souvenirs at Ana Festa Duty Free Shop next door. We ordered Spicy Miso Chasyuhmen (topped with 4 slices of roast pork - ¥1,580), Miso Chasyuhmen (topped with 4 slices of roast pork - ¥1,480), Spicy Miso Ramen (topped with 2 slices of roast pork - ¥1,380) and Miso Ramen (¥1,280). The ramen noodles were fresh with a chewy texture. The broth was delicious and goes well with the slices of roast pork and egg. Everything tasted absolutely delicious!

This restaurant is close to gate 105. We ordered the curry beef with rice and hD it for take-out. Because there was no one ahead of us, the food was ready in about 5 mins for takeaway. We ate the meal about one hour after due to boarding, take off, and turbulence. The food was still good and warm. The curry was tasty, not too salty and not overwhelming. The beef was good, not tough or rubber tire chewy. I recommend this and go back again if my gate is nearby.

the worker at the cashier was extremely rude. I came in polite and ordered and I forgot to take water when I have paid for for just the meal already. Mind you, there was a only a single man still picking his choice of food behind me so I wasn’t causing a long stall. When I asked I’d like to add water she pulled a disgusted face and said “Ehhh” sharply and loudly. Such primitive and uneducated behaviour. I corrected her behaviour with “what did you say?” sternly and she found out I wasn’t just a smiling happy go lucky tourist and became fearful to then changing her attitude completely. Clearly, she was looking to intimidate and bully. Food was...

Rude staff! ( the only bad experience i had in Japan) I ordered a beer and was served half of the cup foam. I asked kindly to fix it and the person serving name start with M, grab very aggressively the cup and took a spoon to take some foam out of the cup and fill it again and returned the cup to the counter with disrespect, she was clearly upset and she start laughing and speaking in what I think is Japanese language with her coworkers.

This is the only bad experience I had in Japan.

Note: Seven Eleven is just a...
