Disappointing Experience
I'm writing this review to share my recent visit, which unfortunately fell short of my expectations in several key areas. While I understand that every establishment can have off days, the issues I encountered during my visit were significant enough to warrant a detailed review.
Staff Attitude: A Letdown
The staff's attitude was one of the most disappointing aspects of my visit. Upon arrival, I was greeted by employees who seemed overwhelmed and disinterested. When I asked for assistance, the responses were curt and lacking in helpfulness. The staff's demeanor didn't change much throughout my visit, which made the overall experience feel impersonal and uninviting.
Queue Management Issues
Another major issue was the inability to manage queues effectively. Despite arriving during a peak period, there was no clear system in place to handle the flow of visitors. This resulted in long wait times and a sense of chaos, which could have been mitigated with better planning and management.
Lack of Baby-Friendly Facilities
As someone who was visiting with a young child, I was particularly disappointed to find that the establishment was not baby-friendly. There were no designated areas for feeding or changing diapers, and the overall environment was not conducive to families with infants or toddlers. This lack of consideration for families with young children made the visit even more stressful.
Distance: A Significant Drawback
Lastly, the location was a significant drawback for me. Given the long distance I had to travel to get there, I had high expectations for the experience. Unfortunately, the issues mentioned above meant that the visit was not worth the effort and time invested.
Conclusion
In conclusion, my visit was a disappointment due to the staff's attitude, queue management issues, lack of baby-friendly facilities, and the distance. While I understand that every establishment has its strengths and weaknesses, these issues were significant enough to impact my overall experience negatively. I hope that the establishment will take these concerns seriously and work towards improving in...
Read moreThis is such a weird lounge at Haneda airport. The staff are unfriendly and there are odd policies in place. The lounge is small and have limited food and beverage options.
This lounge is in the international departure but it seems that the staff doesn’t like foreigners. They act arrogant and haughty. They clearly do not want to be there.
It was upsetting to see and experience Japanese people be treated so much better than others.
When you enter the lounge, the staff at the reception takes awhile to acknowledge and help you to check in. After you check in, you need to head downstairs to access the lounge. Depending on when you enter the lounge, there may be assigned seating. Honestly it appears you get assigned a seat if there is a staff member that pays attention and sees you enter the lounge. It was 50/50 whether you get assigned a seat. No one paid any attention to me and I just found a seat myself.
There are fountain drinks, beer on tap, a coffee machine, and a water dispenser. They do not offer bottled water and do not allow you to fill your own water bottle. This was very strange policy on why they don’t allow folks to fill their own water bottle. Most lounges allow you or offer you bottled water. Multiple staff member came up to tell me off when I was clearly using a glass cup to get some water. They said that I cannot fill my water bottle with the water from the dispenser or pour from the glass. This was so odd and off putting like they own the water and control how it was to be consumed.
They also advertise the Haneda airport WiFi. They do not have their own...
Read moreI wish I could give this place zero stars. It is the complete opposite of customer satisfaction. Let me ask you: have you ever been to other Priority Pass lounges? Because if you have, you’ll be absolutely shocked at how subpar this one is. Sky Lounge at Gate 108, Tokyo Airport, is a textbook example of what a lounge shouldn’t be.
First, you’re met with a completely disorganized and unwelcoming check-in experience. You’re told to wait up to 20 minutes just to be seated—in a lounge that barely has any guests inside. It feels more like a waiting room at a DMV than a premium airport lounge.
Once you’re finally allowed in, your “reward” is a dismal spread of food and drinks. Calling it a selection would be generous. If you’re expecting a decent snack or a simple condiment like ketchup or hot sauce—forget it. They don’t have any. Not because they ran out, but because they apparently don’t stock them at all. Who runs a lounge without basic condiments?
The space itself is cramped and poorly designed. It lacks any sense of comfort or relaxation, and there’s little effort put into ambiance. The lighting is harsh, the seating is uncomfortable, and the whole area feels more like an afterthought than an actual Priority Pass facility.
To top it off, the staff seem indifferent at best. There’s no warmth, no proactive service, no effort to make guests feel welcome. You’re left wondering why this place even exists under the Priority Pass network.
Save yourself the frustration—this place is not worth your time or...
