It’s incredibly rare to find an exceptional restaurant in Japan without a reservation—especially on a Friday night at 9 PM. Nearly impossible, actually. But as fate would have it, we stumbled upon this amazing place right across from our hotel, and to our surprise, they kindly welcomed us without a booking. From the moment we stepped in, the experience was unforgettable. The staff let us know they didn’t have an English menu, which we appreciated. With Google Translate and a bit of curiosity, we were more than ready for the adventure. Our waiter, Kauri Ezura, went above and beyond from the very first minute. He patiently explained every dish—its origin, ingredients, and the quality behind it—with such passion that we immediately knew we were in for something special. Halfway through our dinner, we found ourselves booking a table for the next day. Every single bite was unbelievable. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and so simply perfect—it truly felt like the ocean had delivered them straight to our table. By the end of the meal, we had to personally thank the chef. He absolutely deserved our admiration. The service made us feel at home, even though we were the only foreigners in the restaurant that night. The warmth, the care, and the attention to detail were outstanding. And to top it all off—the prices were incredibly reasonable considering the top-tier quality of the food. To be honest, we were hesitant to leave a review, because this place feels like a secret we wanted to keep. But the team truly deserves recognition. Out of all the restaurants we've visited across Japan, this one stands out as the very best. We love food and travel for taste—and this was, without a doubt, a highlight of our trip. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant. You gave us one of our most cherished memories in Japan.

It's a petite restaurant with around 12 tables. Went on Wednesday evening ard 6:00, place was half empty. TV programme has recently recommended this place so almost all tables were filled by tourists. Their all-you-can-eat oyster set is probably the most popular, costs 3900 yen per person, with a 90-minutes dining time limit. You may choose the cooking method (fresh, steam or grill) but not the origins (waitress mentioned they were all local oysters). We also wanted pasta to go with the oysters, so ordered a 10-fresh oysters and a 10-grilled oysters set (1500 yen per set) instead. Waitors and waitress spoke very minimal English hence our pasta with mussels became clams. There's no pictures on their Japanese menu. And their English menu only showed the all-you-can-eat set. Fresh ones were large and very fresh, quite sweet and not very salty. Grilled oysters tasted as good unfortunately there were shattered shell pieces inside. Oysters are clearly a bargain here but be aware that each diner must order at least one drink. All prices on their menu have not yet included JCT. Would have been a perfect experience if we were warned about this in advance. But overall it was still a great value-for-money place for fresh japanese oysters.

Don’t suggest you all to take “all-you-can-eat” menu! Only one kind of oyster was available and which was really no good (too creamy and heavy, you can’t eat much). The steam one were even not fresh. My husband felt sick after that. Very disappointed. 😔 (it’s my first time to write a comment. I really meant it)
