Like all other branches in this chain, you can find good value for money here, but it's especially nice to find close to central Roppongi. I watched a TV documentary about this chain that shows the care they take sourcing quality ingredients and ensuring their salads are fresh. The salads are one of the highlights. Buffalo mozzarella and pecorino cheese are other signs of a little differentiation from other family restaurants. The pastas are probably prepared from packets but are are acceptable for the price. The meat dishes are good value and it's would be difficult to find a cheaper glass of palatable wine elsewhere in Tokyo. They also have a drink bar if you can't avoid soft drinks or coffee. You often see retired gentlemen spending hours hear drinking wine. Unfortunately this is one of the branches that still allows partial smoking, and with no wall between the smoking and non-smoking sections you can guarantee you clothes and the air will smell of smoke wherever you sit. The service is very operationally focused with few people taking care of a large number...
Read moreIf you’re visiting Japan and looking for an affordable yet surprisingly tasty meal, Saizeriya is a must-try. It’s a Japanese-Italian family restaurant chain known for its casual atmosphere, quick service, and unbeatable prices. While it’s not gourmet Italian, the food is satisfying—especially the Doria (baked rice with cheese), garlic bread, and their signature pastas. A full meal including drink bar can cost less than 1,000 yen. It’s perfect for a quick lunch or casual dinner. Ordering is simple with photos on the menu, and some locations even have touch screens in English. Don’t forget to try the house wine—it’s only around 100 yen per glass! Saizeriya is a great spot to experience Japan’s unique take on Western food, especially if you’re...
Read moreThis restaurant is Japan's interesting twist to Italian foods and drinks. All the foods were inexpensive, but tasted good regardless. The pizza flavours were interesting and cannot be found in North America from my experience. It's also ironic how much cheaper food is here, compared to NA too! The only downside is you can only access this place by stairs, so it's not very handicapped friendly. Staff are very responsive to calls, and got all our orders correct even with the language barrier. Because of the no-tipping culture, I'll at least give a shout out to how awesome their customer service is, their food and what their vision of a successful business is! I give this Saizeriya location a thumbs up...
