I don't usually post reviews on hotels I've stayed but seriously this could very well be the best hotel I've stayed in Tokyo ever. I stayed for 3 nights from 13-16 June. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The room that I was assigned to was on level 5. A 3 bedder. Yes I wished the rooms were bigger but for the available space, the room was extremely well designed and layout. Japanese interior design prowess really shows here. Every corner of the room was well thought out and put into a purpose. We actually didn't feel claustrophobic. In fact we felt so relaxed n cosy inside. All furniture looks brand new and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean and smell great. Special mention must be made to the daily breakfast spread. The selection was extensive. Every food item and drinks were downright delicious and fantastic. The seating area were spacious and the bar seats facing the main road was a nice touch. To be honest I'm not a fan of grilled fish in my country. however your chefs managed to make their grill fish selections so fantastic that I had multiple servings during every breakfast session 😂 your scrambled eggs is so soft n flavorful that I wondered how u guys did it. And your miso soup.. wow. The dishes may look simple for some, but it's your chef ability to make everyday dishes tastes like Michelin grade quality. And the free midnight snacks and drink counter in the dining room. You could be the only hotel in Tokyo to offer such svcs. You have no idea how much it means to your late returning guests. Your staff actually made sure there is plenty of hot n cold water for us to make various tea and coffee. And there are biscuits for us too All these plus the fact that the aircon was cool and the air was fresh. And your staff took great pain to play selections of soothing classical and contemporary tunes over YouTube to set the atmosphere. Seriously I almost fell asleep at the table 😂 it was that relaxing n comfortable.
And lastly location is actually very accessable. There is a bus stop right in front of your hotel. Bus svc T08 connects to the blue line from Haneda airport. T08 also brings u to Tokyo skytree directly. And u can walk to Asakusa shopping district just to the left of the hotel. Senjo ji temple is just a 6 mins walk. And best of all the area is surprisingly quiet and serene at night. It's not easy to find a quiet neighborhood in Tokyo but Asakusa is one of the rare finds
I will surely stay here again for my next trip to Tokyo. Thank you for the experience...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at this exquisite hotel in the heart of Asakusa, and I can't express enough how amazing my experience was. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that set the tone for a fantastic stay. The location of the hotel is absolutely unbeatable. Situated in the historic district of Asakusa, I was just a stone's throw away from iconic attractions like Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street. Exploring the neighborhood on foot was a delight, with charming streets, traditional shops, and fantastic eateries at every corner. The hotel itself is a haven of luxury and comfort. My room was not only spacious and beautifully designed but also offered breathtaking views of the Tokyo skyline. The attention to detail in the room decor and amenities truly exceeded my expectations. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional dining experience at the hotel's restaurant. The culinary delights served here were a gastronomic journey through Japanese cuisine. Each dish was artfully crafted, bursting with flavors, and made from the freshest ingredients. The restaurant staff was incredibly knowledgeable, helping me navigate the menu and suggesting the perfect sake pairings. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Their genuine hospitality and eagerness to assist with any request made me feel valued as a guest. Whether I needed recommendations for local attractions or transportation assistance, they were always ready to help, making my stay stress-free and enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel amenities, including the spa and fitness center, were top-notch. After a day of exploring, I indulged in a relaxing spa treatment that left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Read moreHotel MONday Asakusa is well-situated in Asakusa - Senso-ji Temple is around a 5 min walk away and the hotel is also close to Asakusa Station (around 10-15 min walk) , making it an excellent homme when staying in Asakusa. The best thing of the hotel|is that there's a bus stop directly outside which we used daily. Just try to avoid peak hour as the bus and subway are what you see on youtube eg sardines.||Our last minute trip meant there were very few hotels available during ultra peak Cherry Blossom season in Tokyo generally, but we were fortunate to find the last family room - which has 4 beds and accommodated 4 people easily. We thought the layout of these rooms were superb namely the shower and bath area is separate from toilet and sink. The room prices were unexpectedly very high even for Cherry Blossom season, think twice as much as what you would expect. The daily room cleaning was done to a good standard however they were very slow to clean. One day we returned to our room - being out from 7am, and the room was still not cleaned at 3pm.||We enjoyed the buffet breaky downstairs on every other day There's a decent selection of Japanese breakfast items in the small seating area downstairs. The low point of the stay was meeting one of the older servers with glasses who requires more customer service training. When setting up breakfast she took 20 mins to arrange, then rearrange breakfast items - then taking photos of them, then returning to decorate it further. I had to query is this for eating or looking!?|| Note most shops/restaurants in Japan open late at around 10am so there's less options out there, other than Lawsons across the road (which was an amazing pit stop for snacks) - this one has a bakery onsite. There's also a Family Mart around the corner and a fruit shop which we shopped at to get from healthy snacks. if you're into 7-11 there's one down the road too.||There are so many eateries near this hotel including Nakamise-dori st, and a large Don Don Quijote nearby. Don't forget to set up your QR for tax free shopping.||Although the limo bus doesn't service this hotel, it does service the nearby View hotel, which is a short stroll away.||The view from the roof top of the sky tree, temple and golden poo are amazing and underrated. I took an early morning online board meeting from up here and it...
