Gucci Namiki Dori — Local services in Tokyo

Update 4/1/24: Our last visit here on 3/28 wasn't any different from our last. We remain local to this location and we'll continue to visit when we are in Japan. The attentiveness and hospitality of the staff is beyond what we've experienced in other Gucci stores. Definitely one of the best out there. The service vehicle is a nice touch that takes us to our next destination, can never get used to this. To all the advisors, thank you for making the overall experience pleasant as always.

• May 2023 * This should be the flagship store; the entire place is top-down the best I've been and the people working here are friendly and helpful. We took our time looking around and while there was no pressure from anyone; we felt comfortable and when needing help, someone is there to assists. The entire experience was absolutely positive and next time we're in the area, this is a must stop to shop for our next item(s).

As New Yorkers, we’re accustomed to high-end shopping experiences, but the Gucci store in Tokyo completely redefined luxury service for us! The staff’s professionalism, attention to detail, and warm hospitality were on another level. It was refreshing to be treated with such care and respect.

In comparison, our experiences at the Gucci store in Miami have been underwhelming at best. The service there is lacking and doesn’t reflect the prestige of the brand. Miami could learn a lot from the Japanese approach to customer care—it’s a world of difference.

We traveled across the globe for this experience, and it was worth it. We spent over20K and felt valued every step of the way. Gucci is a brand we adore, but the Tokyo store exemplifies what true luxury should feel like.

Terrible customer service. I walked in with my family and waited on the first then the second floor for help. Multiple customer associates walked past us without even recognizing or presence or asking if we needed help. Customers who came in after us were greeted and helped before us. We ended up walking out because it was clear that we were not wanted at this store.
