It was my first time visiting Tokyo from Los Angeles, California. The first thing I did before arriving was doing research on places to go and etiquette on social media (Tik Tok, Instagram, and YouTube.). This was one of the places I was most excited to visit. Before I got here I went to the wrong address and the owners were more than patient when me when I walked 15 minutes to the correct location. Upon arriving, I took off my shoes and I was shown the options for treatment. I couldn’t speak Japanese well, but the lady who helped me was using her best English to communicate. (Thank goodness for Google Translate.) I got chose the scalp massage treatment that included the up close footage of my scalp. I was asked a lot of questions regarding what could cause my dandruff and then was treated to 60 minutes of the best hair treatment I have ever received. I am male in my mid-30s and I know nothing about hair treatment. I’ve had dandruff problems for as long as I remember. I purchased the scalp treatment and lotion at the end of the session and brought it back to the United States. I am more than satisfied and was very happy with this experience. I came in with my sister and mum to get the 90 minute headspa and it was 100% worth it! The staff speak minimal English but were able to effectively communicate through Google translate and also English signs and pictures! They started off with asking about my concerns and scalp/hair goals, then explained the procedure to us. The experience was so incredibly relaxing that I fell asleep at one point! They ask you for the strength of your massage, and I asked for strong (you have the option of strong, medium and gentle), and they did an amazing job! Being strong and gentle when needed! After the treatment, my hair was extremely soft and smooth and smelt so good! My scalp felt so much cleaner and they even give you a microscopic before and after picture on your hair follicles!
