Lumine Shinjuku 1 is one of the main fashion and lifestyle malls directly connected to Shinjuku Station.
It caters mainly to young adults, with a strong focus on trendy women’s fashion, though there are also shops for men, accessories, and cosmetics. The building is modern, well-organized, and easy to access, making it a convenient stop if you are already at Shinjuku Station.
Inside, you will find a wide selection of clothing brands, shoes, and bags, along with beauty products and lifestyle items like stationery.
The lower floors often feature casual cafés, bakeries, and takeaway food counters, while the upper levels include a restaurant floor with a variety of Japanese and international dining options. Many stores offer tax-free shopping, and services such as free Wi-Fi, nursing rooms, and stroller rentals are available for visitors.
The atmosphere is vibrant but not overwhelming, striking a balance between stylish and practical. Compared to larger department stores like Isetan or Takashimaya, Lumine 1 feels more youthful and approachable, making it a favorite for everyday shopping rather than luxury splurges. Its location right at Shinjuku Station’s South Exit makes it ideal for a quick browse, a meal before catching a train, or an afternoon of...

First time for me to see a women with that kind attitude eating at the restaurant, dont have respect and...

You should just avoid Lumine Shinjuku buildings and go to the actual stores in bigger locations or try Lumine in other cities. Most of the stores inside can be found in many other cities, so you won't be...
