寿司も接客も、まずいです。 Worst sushi I’ve had in Japan. Most of them were poorly cut, the fat tuna was tasteless, physically falling apart, and had weird lumps of hard meat in it.The crab was spongy and disgusting. Service was also very poor. As was mentioned in another review, the sushi were made in a hurry (5 seconds/sushi) and basically thrown at me by this guy who obviously didn't want me to be here. The urchin gunkan was just pulled out of a tupperware and thrown at me. Truly insulting experience. I considered leaving with half of my plate un-eaten, to make a point. I now regret I did not. This place is fantastic. The staff is super friendly and the sushi is delicious! And what for us is super important: our daughter is celiac and has a very strict gluten-free diet. When we told the staff, they were very understanding and prepared all the sushi carefully to prevent cross contamination. The next day, we went back for take away as my daughter didn’t get sick at all. But even for my wife and myself, the sushi was one of the best we ever had. As for the price, we were surprised it was so affordable after all we ordered. Next time in Tokyo we will go again, for sure.
