Visiting this omurice restaurant near Shinjuku Station was a fantastic experience, and we’re so glad we followed the high Google rating recommendation! We arrived just before peak meal time, so we avoided queuing. The restaurant itself is compact yet cozy, with thoughtful touches like boxes and hangers for coats and bags, ensuring a comfortable dining experience.
The omurice was absolutely delightful. The omelet was perfectly soft and fluffy, and the sauces were outstanding. We tried the creamy mushroom sauce, the original demi-glace sauce, and the tomato-based sauce, all of which complemented the dish perfectly. Each flavor was distinct, rich, and incredibly satisfying, making it hard to choose a favorite.
To order, you’ll need to use the vending machine outside the restaurant before entering, which is straightforward and convenient. The plating is beautiful, as you can see in the picture, and the portion size is generous, making it well worth the price. This spot is a must-visit for omurice lovers...
Read moreThe copy all over inside and outside the shop says “Tasty Fluffy Melty Rice”. This is a new outlet of an emerging“omelette” rice restaurant chain.

I suppose more gorgeous or heavier dishes might have been more impactful but my basic order bill alone exceeded 1k yen, so probably I wouldn’t have thought of anyway.
Outside the lunch war-time, the underground space for only 16 seats is rather tranquil and even cozy under the bustle of Shinjuku streets. The staff were calm and unobtrusive. I should come back when I am starving and a...
Read moreHeard about this place from YouTube or instagram and added it to my places I wanted to go on my maps. Happened to be in the area around dinner time and decided to go for it. Was a good experience.
Food is delicious as per the social media I saw it on. The egg melts in your mouth. The free self service soup is also very good and I just wanted to keep drinking that.
The restaurant is a small quaint shop in the basement with 3 tables and a few counter seats. I liked this atmosphere as it gave a true homey Japanese style restaurant vibe in my opinion. Luckily when I went, it wasn't full so I didn't have to wait.
Only 2 people working, not sure if they are they owners but they work hard and are super friendly....
