Really like this montbell store, unlike other reviews i found the store staff very helpful and kind. Quite a sizeable store and I had no problems finding all the stuff I require for my Fuji hike .

Note that theres VAT refund BUT you have to follow the instructions and process:

First pay the full price at the cashier, let staff know you will need VAT refund . They will print out a PIE VAT refund receipt for you Make sure you have downloaded the PIE VAT app (best if you’ve done this beforehand ) and have input your details such as passport details / credit card details Go to VAT refund counter , they have clear instructions on a sheet for you to follow ( I took a photo and attached here) . Basically in the app request a new refund, input your departure date, passport details , scan receipt Submit the request in the app and show the page to staff and they will perform some final process for you . You just have to click claim refund on your app. The VAT refund should come back to your credit card in 5-10 days

Arrived here with the intention to compare waterproof & windproof hardshell with Patagonia’s.

Approach a staff on layering the their shell over my current mid layer from Mont bell and Patagonia, probably wearing it on its own. Despite the language barrier, she still try to check and brought me to put on one of their down parka and we started trying various size for my desired jacket. Of course her recommendation is size L-R which fit perfectly as a layer or roomy enough on it own. She’s really a great help to my decision of purchasing from Montbell.

This single level shop even have a camping, sleeping bag section at the back.
