Such a calm and serene place to feel pampered. Great service. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Color selection was great. The girls who helped me took their time and were detail oriented. I've never had an experience like this at home (California). I really appreciate that they tried to speak English and they understood my terrible japanese. I got a gel mani and pedicure. It's been almost a month, and my manicure still looks good. No chipping, lifting, and my nails haven't broken. I have never been able to grow my natural nail this long because they break. My nails feel and look great. Well worth the price. Thanks for the fantastic experience. Hope to visit again.

Update: This is 3months late but we went back to Japan. You already know I returned here for my manicure and pedicure. Same top tier services. I loved my cherry blossom nails. I loved that I showed the girls my inspiration pictures and the created something beyond my expectations. They were perfect because two days later he proposed under the cherry blossoms 🌸. Thank you so much for unknowingly being part of the most special day of our lives ❤️.

It was my first time visiting Japan and I wanted to get my nails done there. I made a booking through their Japanese website and I used google translate to book everything. I received a confirmation via email and a few days before my appointment I got another email to make a deposit of 5,500 yen to secure the appointment. The payment was made through their link sent via email. On the day of the appointment, I was greeted by a few ladies. I showed them my email confirmation and they sat me down on a comfy single couch. They even provided a blanket, a pillow and a drink from their menu. I had my nails done by Momoka. She was super cute and nice. She asked what I wanted and I showed her a few photos for inspiration. She’s not fluent in English but we both used translation app to communicate and I had fun talking to her. I had a chipped nail and she asked if I wanted it repaired for 500 yen. She repaired it really well. 5 weeks and half later, my nails are still holding and I’m so sad I’ll have to cut them soon since it’s getting too long. Overall, I highly...

Love my nails!!

As this was my first time in Japan getting gel magnetic nails, I was nervous and unsure what to expect.

I had a mani/pedi done with 2 of the wonderful techs at La Vela and they were quick and gentle with my services. I forgot that I had gel polish to remove and they were accommodating to switch up my planned request to add gel removal within my booked time which in turn made me opt out of my optional request for dead skin removal after my pedicure.

Momoko worked on my manicure and did a great job making sure I was satisfied with the nail designs/colors during each step of added layers.

Very foreigner friendly and they even gave me a nice warm blanket and pillow to keep me comfortable in my seated reclining chair.

I was presented with an option of a complimentary drink in which I opted for a delicious honey yuzu tea. The ladies also brought out some complimentary chocolate as well.

Overall, I would come back to this nail salon as the ladies are definitely talented and efficient...
