I had an extremely disappointing tax refund experience at the B1 tax-free counter. I travel to Japan 2-3 times a year, and this was by far the worst encounter I’ve had. The staff handled our items carelessly, even tearing the protective rain bag that was shielding them from the heavy rain outside. They unnecessarily scrutinized our brand-new purchases and made the process far more difficult than it needed to be.

To make matters worse, the guy worker was constantly coughing—without covering his mouth—while handling our items and even coughing directly in our faces. Especially during flu season, this was completely unacceptable. If he was unwell, he should have stayed home instead of putting customers at risk.

Their overall attitude was dismissive, and they seemed indifferent to their job, speaking only among themselves in Chinese and showing no regard for customer service. This experience has left such a negative impression that I will never shop at...

I used the tax refund service at the 2nd floor on 4 June 2024 around 8.45 p.m. at LUMINE2 The CHINESE women staff is very rude and have bad manner. I asked her about separate the tax free bag for my friend stuff very polite but she responded like annoying with bad manner. I can feel she speaks some bad Chinese words that I’m not understand. Bought the wrong item and they did not want to refund me even though I had bought it 5 minutes ago.
